| Bio: | I am not my LiveJournal. I'm just girl. With a mouth like a sailor. Who can work a drill but loves it when a guy pumps my gas for me. I like wearing skirts and drinking gin with the guys. I think the only women that should be on a football field are cheerleaders. However, I'm only comfortable 2 degrees on either side of 74F, I hate bugs, I don't camp and I don't like dirt under my fingernails...unless I'm at the dog park... I don't cheat or steal and I'm loyal almost to a fault. I love to laugh. I am a misanthrope; regardless of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation or creed; although, I am utterly fascinated by people and their behaviors. I love pie...I love the smell of new shower curtains when you first unfold them.....I love the way the air smells right before it rains and afterwards....I love sitting on a porch in the middle of summer drinking wine...except... If I could have my way, I'd probably live in the middle of nowhere and hang out in old country-western bars with a bunch of rednecks...but I would miss the city. I dream of someday owning a nice piece of classic Detroit rolling stock. The kind that gets terrible gas milage. I'm a few hours over my bad-boy phase, but I haunt local rockabilly joints looking for foul-mouthed, tattooed old style-drinking compatriats. I knit, cook, and play shuffleboard. I am only good at shuffleboard. I'm in the Valley of Sun. Yes, I've lived through my first summer. I probably won't live through many more. This isn't where I am meant to die. But so far, I like it. I came here by way of Denver. And before that, it was New York. That's where my roots remain. Forever and always. I want to live in a world where where everyone smokes, has a cocktail in their hands at all times and eats steak for dinner. I want to live in a world without cell phones, water bottles, Jerry Springer, Dr. Phil and SUVs. I want to live in a world where Cadillac actually makes a nice looking automobile and uncommon valor is a common virtue. People tell me things. Total strangers, bartenders, grocery store clerks, even my boss. They all tell me things. You can tell me things. | |||||
